Like Book of the Month, there's a new selection of books hand-picked by Amazon's editors for members to grab at a discount. However, unlike Book of the Month, you can pick an e-book at no cost to you.
Each month, Prime Members can pick one book from the First Reads selection that's added to their Kindle library. On the first of the month, the picks are refreshed, so April 1st brings eight new books and one bonus short story ready to be devoured. In April, there's an abundance of thrillers available, including The Undoing of Alejandro Velascoby Diego Boneta, The Boomerangby Robert Bailey, and Three Mothersby Hannah Beckerman.
Plus, there's a new release from Mindy Kaling's book studio this month: When Stars Alignby Melissa de la Cruz, a coming-of-age story about three darlings of Hollywood and the toll of fame.
