When you think Mother’s Day gifts, VR porn probably isn’t at the top of your list. But maybe it should be?
That is exactly what Pornhub is suggesting you send to dear old mom this year. They’re running a special initiative called “Mommy’s Special Glasses.” (Which, haha, ewww?) The deal is you order a pair of free VR glasses from them, and send them to mummy dearest. She’ll then have access to a site filled with specially curated VR adult content.
The glasses come packaged in pretty pastels and housed in an innocent-looking greeting card. You just slip your phone into the card and start watching. It's really quite an experience.
So, if for some reason you think the mothers in your life need to lay eyes on some hot action, this could be your jam.
Mother's Day and sex aren't the most natural pairing, but the massive online porn platform is no stranger to cheeky promotional gags, but this is definitely right up there in the O_O department -- literally.
So why would they do this exactly? Pornhub’s VP, Corey Price, explained, “While most of us have been going the generic gift giving route -- sending cards or flowers or phoning in long distance calls -- we thought it apropos to provide our fans with the option to gift them with the one thing every mother wants but is too afraid to ask for -- porn.” Hmm, well, okay then?
Of course, the thing most mothers would really prefer to experience in VR is total peace and quiet. A day where no one begs you to make them a snack and no one spills anything on your freshly dry-cleaned sweater -- that is the the real porn for moms.
